Kabika has seven years of experience working with communities within and outside protected areas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology and Management with Copperbelt University, Kitwe, Zambia. He completed Community Facilitation and Engagement training through the African Centre for Holistic Management by Savory Institute in Dibang’ombe, Zimbabwe. He was a Biodiversity Partners Program Fellow for 2023 under the Sustainable Institute, Cape Town, South Africa, and is currently enrolled to pursue a MSc in Environmental and Natural Resources Management, University of Zambia, Zambia. ‘I am deeply passionate about finding ways that can improve livelihoods for rural communities in a sustainable and conservative way.’
